Which type? I'm assuming one of the 4 types of oculocutaneous albinism, and not something like Hermansky-Pudlak?

There are definitely subtypes of OCA1 (1A and 1B) and OCA2 (minimal pigment, yellow 'mutant', platinum, temp-dependent) but to my knowledge (I'm a dermatology resident) there are no "type 5 - 7."
Edit: OMIM does list some loci/mutations for 5-7, but they don't appear to be commonly tested for. Surely that will change in the near future.

One of the reasons we recommend lots of sunscreen (NOT sun tan lotion) for vitiligo patients is that sunburns of otherwise unaffected skin can cause new depigmented patches to appear.
(edited to exchange "arise" for "appear" to avoid confusion.)
