I am a 27 year old, have never had eye surgery, I wear glasses and contacts. Was hoping at some point to have surgery so as to be independent of glasses and contacts. But I don't know if that is a realistic expectation. My dad had lasik back in the 90s, but he needed to use glasses again within 10 years or so. My eye doctor explained a bit about how many people can't do lasik a second time, as it wears the lining of the ____ (cornea, I think?). Thanks for the response!
