I read recently that you once said the following: "I think I was blessed to be given the opportunity to be in those [Brat Pack] movies. I think they're great movies, and I'm proud of my work in them. But on the other hand, to talk about something I did so long ago when I have continued to work and do other things is a little tiring. I just get bored. I keep going back to those movies when I don't have anything new to say about them."

Assuming that much of what you'll be asked here will be some of the same questions you've heard countless times before, why did you agree to do this Ask Me Anything?

You are one of us. We welcome you, Molly Ringwald.

Thanks for the AMA, and the answer!

This is part of the greatness of the internet -- we can request and hopefully find the humanity in people we might otherwise never interact with, and learn on a person-to-person basis what mass media won't portray. I'm afraid you may have asked a bit too late, but you still deserve praise for this question. Have a U-boat upvote.
