Rape is rape, regardless of gender or circumstances. If someone has sex without thoughtfully consenting, they have been raped. I'm sorry that you've heard otherwise, especially if you or someone you know has been through this.

The thoughtfully consenting part is not thought out itself. If that defines rape then i could decide to have sex on the spur of the moment and act of my own free will. Then if i regret it the next morning I should consider myself raped. Consent is a matter of saying yes, not mulling over it and coming to a well researched and in-depth decision.

Now to wait for the ignorant replies about how I apparently support rape because i have a disagreement about what constitutes consent. Especially since my definition of consent wouldn't have as many rapes.
