Your Spotify playlists contains most of the artier Beach Boys albums but I did notice an absence of the fascinating Love You. Are you not a fan of the record? I've always acknowledged it as a spiritual predecessor to Pinkerton due to its lyrical directness and beautifully raw aesthetic.

The entire album is a wonderful snapshot of Brian Wilson with his melodic sensibility still wholly intact - he was apparently inspired by Switched on Bach by Wendy Carlos and it really shows in the arrangements. I think you'd really appreciate "I Wanna Pick You Up", it has a stunning piece of counterpoint in the second verse that almost gives the guitar line in the second verse of "No Other One" a run for its money :)
