No-one seems to have asked at this point so i will - what actually happened? The whole scenario. Yeah, you got shot, yeah, it sucked, yeah, your still friends with the guy. But how on earth did your inexperienced friend end up with a loaded firearm and manage to shoot you walking back to the car? How was he walking, what was he doing, where were you standing, how did he only hit your wrist, what were you doing, what happened immediately after?

edit: OP hasnt answered anything in over 7 hours, maybe he's at school or work or whatever. I just want to elaborate that i'm not at this point jumping to conclusions and saying OP is irresponsible or his guns should be taken away as others are, thats not what i was insinuating with "...what actually happened...". I'm just pointing out the fact that he hasnt actually given a recount of the whole story, not even in the post description. He could've shot himself for all we know.

How often did you try to physically move yourself? Like trying to kickstart your body again?

If you did; what did it feel like, your brain teIling your body to move and your body just....not. Is it like running or punching in a dream, like going nowhere, having no power, feeling helpless kind of thing?

I get pretty irate when people i know prepare their meals with near blunt knives. My mum was slicing....AHEM mashing...tomatoes and i asked her to see the knife and it was so blunt i proved it to her by running it straight across my hand without even a mark left.

How do you get through to people to sharpen AND KEEP their knives sharp ?!

No matter how many times ive tried my mum wont catch on, even after sharpening every knife for her by hand, she does nothing and wonders why things keep slipping off the board. My girlfriend on the other hand used to use fine serrated teeth knives for EVERYTHING - after buying her a nice knife set and knife steel she absolutely swears by it and tries to convert others when it comes up in conversation.

Odd question but its a small world in a niche community... Is Brendan Vallance / Mcelhill still around the world champ scene?

I was friends with him in school but haven't spoken to him since. But i knew he had entered and last i heard had won a world championship.
