It's actually surprisingly common in rich people. Not that everyone upper class feels this way, but it's not like a shocking "OMG how could you say that" statement for their economic class. Of course this is all just my anecdotal experience.

I know most hotels will price match, but I've never seen one that will price match AND give you a free night. Are these boutiques or something?
