his answer confuses me. Penn said specifically that prospective* interviewees knew the shows opinion and even were given DVDs to know the type of show they were going to be on.

I think there's a difference between the interviewees who are so-called experts in their field who set up lengthy discussions espousing their beliefs and some random guy who came to a special event at bar night (and proved too entertaining not to talk to). They did not seek out /u/theberetdude. He showed up at an event they were filming.

I haven't seen the episode in a while, so if I'm mistaken about anything, please let me know. Great to see you on the other side of this whole thing, beretdude.

I'm sure you'll meet him when he's inducted into the elite League of Supermen.

Okay, we go to the Regal here in NYC all the time, and I'm not sure if you can answer this, but here goes.

Most of the time when I'm there, an employee will walk down to the front of the auditorium and find some kind of clipboard, which (s)he will then look at and perhaps write on using a flashlight for illumination. Then the employee will walk back to the exit and leave. This takes place three, sometimes four times during the movie, and it can get really distracting to me.

What the hell is this guy up to? Can't they put this all-important clipboard outside?! Is it some kind of safety check? I'm dying to know, but I have no idea who I can ask.

This is fascinating to me as it sounds a little like Manichaeism. Do you have any reading recommendations that expand upon the philosophical underpinnings of Navajo (or Native American in general perhaps) belief? I work in academic philosophy, and although I'm sure I could track something down on my own, I was curious if you had any in mind.

Is it The Main Stalk by Farella that you're referring to? If so, that sounds exactly like what I'm looking for. Thanks for the quick reply and thanks as well for an extremely interesting AMA.
