ARE YOU BLIND ZEBRA!?

Sorry, instinct when I see the referee uniform ;-)

Serious question:

Is it harder to call plays when it goes against the home team in a hostile environment? Or even does it just cause more stress in that sort of environment?

I'll give you an example. There is a big game between two heated rivals. Team A is at home and it seems everyone in the arena hates Team B with a passion. Team B is winning and there is a toxic feeling in the arena. Team A commits a penalty. Do you cringe and not want to call that penalty because of your surroundings?

I love the movie "The Hateful Eight" for many reasons. I remember seeing you in it and knowing that you had worked as a stuntwoman in previous movies (I'm not sure how I knew that. Possibly behind the scenes featurettes for other Tarantino movies).

I've always wondered was Hateful Eight difficult because of all the snow?

I love the idea of getting "snowed in" somewhere and that is one of my favorite parts of the movie. However, i can imagine that it would make the movie difficult work.

Off-sides is when the attacking team crosses the blue line (enters the offensive zone) before the puck AND also if anyone on the attacking team touches the puck before it crosses back out (leave the offensive zone).

Example

  • The player on the left has the puck where the player on the right has crossed the blue line. Offsides has not taken place YET.

  • The player on the left passes to the player on the right. The puck crosses the blue line into the offensive zone. The player on the right , who is already in the offensive zone, touches the puck. That player is offsides and the play is whistled dead.

  • What the player on the right could do, is clear out of the offensive zone without touching the puck and then reenter the offensive zone once everyone (on their team) has cleared out. Then the attacking team is "on side"

I don't understand icing. Something to do with clearing the puck the entire length of the ice. It crosses both blue lines and the far red line (goal line). But only if an opposing player can't reach it. I believe that the goalie also has to change their socks while this is going on to be considered icing. Again, I'm not sure.

Maybe this is a stupid question but I don't know how it works.

So there are only 6 reported cases of polio right now. Can those 6 be given the vaccine and their case of polio is gone?

Also, did those 6 contract the disease this year?

Basically, ELI5. :-)
