Owner of the samsung version of a roomba here.

I have a SO with long hair and a dog with short, big house thats all tile and hardwood floors.

Apart from my SO's hair requiring me to clean the brushes weekly (it wraps around the horizontal spinning brushes) and ungunking a little bit of dog hair in some joints it actually does an amazing job.

If Ive been a slob and not used it for a week, it will take 2 complete runs to get on top of the mess (mainly dog hair & dust).

Cords are its enemy though, gotta tidy up / clamp down all cables and cords.

Hey, I loved your games (well except for #3).

Im just going to list of what I love in no specific order:

  • 1's game intro is imho 1 of the best game intros I have ever seen (right up there with quake 2). Its exciting and gets you ready for action.

  • doing stunts with mates on multiplayer, some of my best memories from game lans are of my red car twirling through the air in opposite direction to oncoming traffic.

  • The physics, it blew my mind to see wheels grip and push depending on contact with the ground. For me those small details made #1 so much more immerssive .

  • Fear factory sound tracks for #1 = win, I loved it so much Id play a cracked version of #2 (still paid for it) and use #1's cd to get the awesome music. Its also worth noting your music tracks for #1 work amazingly well as a quake 1 level music cd (a happy discovery by accident).

  • I loved the driver cam in #1.

  • sides ways drift down the foot ball feild line up = best feeling ever.

  • I WAS IN THE WAR !!!!!

  • Artistic bonus.

  • Hidden cheat that I figured out (much to the annoyance of my lan mates) which enabled starting before the countdown finishes.

  • Cars that actually take damage.

  • Incredible level design, this cant be stated enough. I loved #1's levels so damn much #2 was great as well.

  • Decent opponent AI, I always enjoyed picking on a car (red dune buggy) and having them take their grievance to the next race.

Cant wait for your real number #3 release but that being said, Id be happy as a pig in shit if I could play #1 on a pc using 3d acceleration and tcp-ip networking (damn #1 and its ipx spx only multiplayer).

Love you guys, love your games.

oh I know, when #3 came out my friend pirated it and warned me against it.
I refused to believe, but after 5min of trying to play that steaming turd I could see without having to check any further than the talent behind #1 and #2 had nothing todo with the "thurd" (later checked and confirmed).

Speak no more about that abomination no blame lies are your feet, so glad you got full rights to the franchise back.
