This is a great question. As a Jew who believes in a free Palestine, this is a huge deal to me. I find Israeli politics embarrassing and many of the policies to be very hateful, not to mention hypocritical for holocaust survivors. The way they treat non-Jews is reprehensible. It makes all Jews look bad. It makes me feel guilty even though I have nothing to do with it. It's sickening.

I love hearing about Canadians being normal assholes. there's this annoying misconception that all Americans are assholes and all Canadians are nice. Fuck that. (i'm american of course) (and not sorry)

I think it's sometimes hard for intellectual discourse to occur when there are preconceived notions about the value of an opinion.

Anyone who won't listen to a non-jew or a non-israeli express opinions about Israel, based purely on the fact that someone isn't Jewish, is either a bigot or an asshole. "Por que los dos?" one might ask.

and that would all have to be portrayed by Julie Andrews. she is and will always be both Victor AND Victoria to me, why not take a stab at Betty/Chris/Betty? pretty sure Julie Andrews may be the only remaining white person alive who could do blackface without being vilified for it. she'd make that shit super classy, i know she would.
