Hi Tim, Thanks for giving me motivation and advice on starting my own venture. I’m an experienced healthcare sales professional looking to start my own sales consulting business (both in-person consulting but also virtual consulting via videos, skype calls, etc).
The issue I have, or question I have is how can I start while still staying actively employed? Being a new parent to twins, I don’t have the ability to just walk away, I need to keep some finances coming in (daycare is expensive!) until I build up a client base. Should I approach my current company and see if I can go from full time to maybe 3 or 4 days a week? Find a new job (seems like added stress)? Looking forward to your new book!
