IMT = Incident Management Team

These are teams of essentially upper level management that are called in to handle the 1,000+ firefighting personnel. The IMT consists of many teams such as logistics, operations, PR and finance, to name a few.On fires supporting this many people, you set up an Incident Command Post and this is where the operations are run from. This "fire camp" has everything from a mess hall to showers and even laundry if it is a Type I IMT.
