EDIT: Wow! I actually didn't know who Daiz was. I just found out that he's a part of the fansub group Underwater. Its very interesting knowing this based on the nature of his questions. I don't know how to feel about that, seems like it was in poor taste, but I thought this question had some valid points.

thanks! I guess the speed that you release the subtitles also factors into the typesetting. An example that I really liked in some fansubs was where the giant red text in Kill la Kill had the subtitles integrated into the text rather than just as a subtitle, and another was in Bakemonogatari where the short cutaways to the coloured screens with text had the subtitles integrated into them instead of being at the top of the screen so it was easier to read. Of course I don't expect things like subtitles reflecting in peoples glasses, thats a bit useless (although impressive). I appreciate the current services, but I am looking forward to the improvements!
