Oh my, Where I grew up (Irish community in North America) not looking someone in the eye was an insult.

My 90 year old grandfather still runs or bikes a few miles every day. He swears by a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar every morning. As a kid every time I'd come visit him and my grandmother I'd join him in the daily spoonful of ACV. Now I'm an adult and study medicine but...I'll be taking a teaspoon of ACV.

Look into clinical trials! Science can't progress unless we have participants in trials and sometimes trials result in dramatic improvements in subjects (in research we refer to patients as subjects.) All clinical trials are conducted according to strict standards which ensure subject safety.
