I know we can visualize gravity of objects in space similarly to this: (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d1/GPB_circling_earth.jpg).
But how would we visualize gravity when it comes to the scale of a galaxy? Does the visualization of gravity react the same way as it would with Earth as it does with a galaxy?
