Well, the drug experience is certainly more honest. You know that what you are experiencing is coming directly from chemicals, rather than from a mystical "other". Even this knowledge will greatly shape the experience, even if the same neuro-mechanisms are involved.

Doesn't a religion imply faith? What does Atheism ask us to take on faith, exactly? It's promises of a better future?

"His bully is going to be able to rationalize his actions twenty years down the like by thinking, 'he fucking knifed me."
I'm sorry but no. No rational person can possibly justify their behavior by thinking "It's ok that I bullied people because i got stabbed in retaliation!"
Otherwise I'm totally on board with what you are saying.

Hey guys.
It seems that most everyone in the guitar world agrees that your algorithms and chipsets are currently producing some of the highest quality sounds in the effects world. Given the cache that you have built for yourself in the last few years, I think the main question is where do you go from here? Do you try and keep your "boutique" identity or do you try and create some mass market products that could break you into the big leagues?

What do you think of Universalism/Unitarianism? My personal philosophy is that since all existence was once a singularity, it might well end up that way again, and that is/would be comparable to heaven in that you are "one with all creation" again. To me, this is sort of a logical fusing of science and religion, and jives rather well with the idea of an actually "just" creation or creator. Any thoughts?
