I've lost my job and I'm terrified of what the economy is going to look like on the other side of this. I'm having a hard time having any positive thoughts whatsoever. How do I change my perspective when everything seems hopeless?

I believe my sister is bipolar (it runs in the family) but she is refusing to see a real psychiatrist (instead she is resorting to "natural healing", meaning pseudoscientific nonsense). I'm scared for her and I don't know how to get her to see reason. Do you have any advice for me ?

At what age should a child begin to be able to read? I'm sure it is variable, but I'm wondering if my child is on track. He's 3 and knows his ABCs (as in the song), we are working on being able to identify letters, and we read multiple books to him everyday.
