We had Oregon Trail on our school computers, back in 1996. Back then the computer teachers didnt teach much computers or typing, we mostly played games.
Now my mom is teaching computers at my old elementary school. Just last week she told me that she's letting the kids play Oregon Trail every once in a while. They name the characters after classmates and then fake cry over their deaths. The kids love it.
How does it feel that after so long, kids still are playing and enjoying a game you made more than 40 years ago?
