You might wish to look inward. The political ideologues within your community have destroyed all credibility in climate science.

You all have been playing a tragic game of attempted political manipulation and it has backfired horrifically.

You need to stop the manipulation, stop the advocacy politics, let your science speak for itself. Otherwise, you lose. The general public is not nearly as naive or susceptible to manipulation as you may perceive.

Unless and until you stop attempting to play the political game and return to the roots of objective science, you will never gain the confidence and trust of the general public.

In other words, you have dug yourselves into a deep hole. STOP DIGGING.
