When you trained the Iraqi soldiers did you actually think that they would be able to protect Iraq or were you expecting them to flee like they did when faced with ISIS?

True, a lot of them probably aren't used to the idea of a nation. They've been living with tribes and warlords and washed up old governments.

I can see how they'd have less of a sense of nationalism than other people would.
