Thanks for being a role model for this aspect of our lives. I feel like there wasn't much for us to go off of. As unfair as this might sound, I almost never gave credence to people's advice when they hailed from traditional western households, where individuality and exploration was encouraged because I felt that their life experiences (and therefore approach to my situation) were fundamentally different than my own.

Your approach, while not that much different in tone or message, helped cement that thinking at the very least i.e make it normal. So thanks again.
