How can I make my canned Guinness Draught a more authentic experience? How do you pronounce Smithwicks?

As the son of a JSUMC RN who got his start in nursing with an HPAE scholarship and is now a DNP I want to thank your union for supporting my family and getting me started in the nursing field.

That said, I understand how much pressure JSUMC has been under even pre pandemic with the heavy handed tactics practiced by Hackensack against its only unionized workforce (from what I remember). What are your specific demands from Hackensack administrators and what lengths are you willing to go to achieve those goals? I’d like to think your team is ready to strike if needed, but my mom says there’s a good amount of apathy, how do you get your team energized to fight?

I was an ER nurse in a nonunion hospital in a right to work state for 10 years before I left after going into advanced practice. I’m proud of your advocacy for your union members and for our colleagues at large. How can I help as a fellow nurse?
