Thanks for answering. I.had a child die and in that same year my husband passed away. Unrelated incidents. The funeral director for my husband's funeral was so empathetic. He asked about my child, even. I look.back and think very kindly on how gentle he was in dealing with me.

I wrote him a letter a year after my husband's death.thanking him for how caring and considerate he was towards me.

What was the most emotionally difficult thing you've had to do in your career?

Thank you. It was 16 years ago. Not that it diminishes anything but it gives you time to readjust how you exist. It was a dark time. I luckily had 2 other children who I had to be there for.

For a long time I was " that woman" to everyone. Small town so everyone knew. I refer to that grief period as "when everyone died" because it was how it felt.
