Does milling achieve perfect 90 degree transitions from level road surface to a level milled bottom? Not from my driving experience...

I think his idea is either to remove the milling process, or achieve smooth transitions... or both... which seem legit. The latter obviously might be unnecessary, such as grinding and polishing welds... but smoother roads would be nice, and if it costs less by removing milling, that's good.
