I don't think OP is doing anything wrong, the mother planned the whole murder, the only difference right now is only the length of sentence she is getting. OP has nothing to do with the whole situation and will not affect anything that is happening in court. The only thing he can really do is get on with his life (plus this help AMA help him get this off his chest as he has stated in this thread.)
