ummmmm no, not before it reached number one and none of the accounts used to perpetrate the up/down voting were banned. So anyone inclined to do this sort of thing can just make ONE new account to continue. so i would argue that you are talking out of your ass.

no, but i do know how obviously impossible of a job it would be to figure out which accounts are abusing the upvote and downvotes. Especially when that post hits front page.

Also, I have something like 10 accounts of my own. how many do you think someone who actually desires to do this will have?
