I use to work with the person who inspired the character of Pat. The creator (Julia Sweeney) was a co-worker of theirs at a movie theater in Seattle in the late 80's while she attended the University of Washington.

Pat is a real person. Who still works at a theater in Seattle. It was fucking weird working with Pat.
