You can't really be 'off' if you need to free for meetings etc at any point between those hours. What happens if someone is at the shops with their hands full of groceries and you need a 15 min chat?

The impression I got was that the 4-hour thing only works if, like Tim, you have spent a few years doing 60-80 hours weeks building a very successful company in the first place.

Every hostel I've been in has had lockers if you are worried. Never had any problems personally.
