No inflationary consequences? Are you missing the massive inflation numbers over the last 2 years or so? I think the proof is pretty obvious that 'free' money given to people just doesn't work.

This is part of my point. Giving people basically free access to tons of cash through credit and whatnot drove the massive inflationary numbers that we saw. Once businesses saw just how much people were willing to pay for stuff with free money drove prices up dramatically.

UBI will do nothing to ease any of it. Once businesses realise that people have more money, they will charge more. So UBI will have to increase and increase.....it's not sustainable.
