Camera guy here, unrelated to OP.

10's are great to me because they can tell you a lot about the production. 10's typically keep people happier, they tend to have better pre production and planning so you know what shots are happening, and they keep the cast and crew safe. I've heard of too many people working 12+ hours then falling asleep at the wheel. I've even worked on pictures with minors as top talent and even they have to work 10+ hours.

However, if I only took jobs that were less than 12 hours I'd never work, so I kind of have to put up with it. If the job won't pay OT after 12, I usually think twice about taking it.
