Another former Chick-Fil-A employee here. Can confirm that it is in fact definitely real chicken. One of my managers told me that he attended some sort of fast food conference/convention thing with CFA execs. They were approached by some company that wanted to sell them a machine that produced processed chicken. The execs walked away without saying a word.

CFA prides itself on using real chicken. When they say their goal is to provide the best experience they can, they mean it in every way, especially food.

"Food is essential to life, therefore make it good." -S. Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-Fil-A

I've met the man, he absolutely believes that principle, as well as customer satisfaction.

TL;DR: Yes, Chick-Fil-A uses real chicken.
