Not OP but a firefighter, you wouldn't believe the stupid things people do that start fires. One that stands out was a Muslim family using a smoker in doors during Ramadan. The said it was too cold outside to use the smoker and had it set up in their apartment living room and their couch caught fire. This was at 0200 (2am), and they said they cooked all night usually and this was the first time they had a problem. I've also been on a fire that was cause by a guy throwing 15 bug bombs into his attic in an attempt to chase a raccoon out. In his defense it worked, the raccoon jumped out of the attic vent a minute after we pulled up.

Yeah, it is. I don't know how they didn't suffocate themselves if they'd done it before like the husband claimed
