Are migraines linked to or correlated with future neurological issues?

That is, if someone suffers from migraines, are they more likely to have other issues, especially in old age?

Do you look down at Maine and think "you tropical-weather-having, light winter-enjoying ninnies..."?

If you allow undocumented immigrants to come into the United States and to stay illegally, and then give them a pathway to become citizens while in the United States, this will encourage immigrants from all over the world to flood into the United States.

Sorry, you make it sound like this is a bad thing, and not the thing that drove America's economic expansion over the last 100 years.

Let 'em come in. Stop them at Ellis Island, spell their names wrong, check them for pink eye, and let 'em in, just like we did for the Germans, then the Irish, then the Italians, then the Cubans...

A poll tax? I don't think you know what that means.

Also it's already illegal to sell to a felon or otherwise disqualified individual no matter what.

You can sell a gun to a felon and face absolutely NO repercussions. Period. Because you don't have to check. As long as the person doesn't tell you, then you can act like you didn't know. That is the freaking problem, and that is what the proposed laws would have changed.

I agree about opening it up and making it free. Sure. I can agree with that. But that wouldn't get UBCs passed - if you think that, then you haven't ever heard of the NRA.

Think of it this way: currently, for a private sale, you only need one law abiding citizen - it is entirely possible that the law-abiding seller does not know that the buyer may not legally own a gun.

Under the proposed bill as amended, a background check means a transaction would require two law-abiding citizens.

So yes, it "only regulated sales between two law abiding citizens" because it makes sales between one law-abiding and one criminal impossible.

We want fewer of the transactions where only one person is a law-abiding citizen, right? That's what the bill would do.
