I once had a job chewing gum for an artist in Soho. I’d have to chew the sugar out, then put the chewed gum as flat as possible on plexiglass. I probably chewed thousands of pieces of gum that summer. The sugar free gum was the worst.

They’re both insufferable.

The wetter the better.

Being really creative with the hiding spots. Using negative space (like a bat in the space crates BETWEEN bushes) or an axe, where two different things create the object, like a post from the background, and a hat from the foreground. Those are tough but rewarding. Sometimes it can be easy to just say, “Fuck it, I’m hiding a sock in the elbow.” (Not very creative)
