This is awesome. Whenever there are invented languages in a book/series/film, i'm completely hooked.

Are you planning on publishing some sort of guideline to your languages? Like a dictionary, grammar rules... Please say you will, please do!

And secondly: how "big" have the languages got so far? How many words does each of them have, how complex did you make the grammar? Any secret little puns you might have hidden somewhere? ;)

I stumbled upon your books one day at the library and virtually devoured them. I (and many other people) have always perceived my mind as somehow "weird", and your books explained a lot about that. I don't have synesthesia, and it would probably take me two lifetimes to memorise 22.500 digits of Pi, but I recognised many of your thinking patterns in my own ones. Reading your books was utterly reassuring and calming. So... Thank you.

You also seem to be a very humble, genuinely nice human being, if one can judge that by reading books and watching interviews. I have the utmost respect for that, because people can get incredibly mean and hateful towards "different" people, which often causes defiant and counter-hateful attitudes. You being able to avoid that is amazing.

Could I ask some questions?

Have you ever tried to learn sign language? If so, how do the signs for numbers work for you? The hands form shapes and movements probably not identical with your internal images of numbers. How does it work for you?

Do you have any advice for tutoring kids? I'm giving extra lessons in English, German and Maths, and sometimes I know that tmy students would be easily capable of understanding their material but they just can't quite reach it. Especially in maths... I think everybody can understand the basic math you have to learn in school (up to grade 12), it's just so hard to make them see it. Do you have any ideas for making them see that?

And lastly: I just learned that you also speak my mother tongue. Deshalb nochmal: Danke für das (der? die? Artikel übertragen ist schwer) AMA! Wie lange haben sie gebraucht, um Deutsch zu lernen? Unsere Grammatik ist gemein und so detailreich, dass das schon allein Stunden/Tage braucht, um das alles nur durchzulesen! Nichtmal alle Muttersprachler beherrschen das alles...
