That's okay, I didn't know the difference until recently, and for medical reasons as well. :) fellow young man with bowel problems. Fortunately, I have a diagnosis for mine. Unfortunately, it is also cancer. You win some you lose some xD

Sadly, the username is no coincidence. This year I learned the hard way what chronic constipation was like when I was paralyzed by cancer in my spine. I was doubly fucked, because I had been unable to shit due to back pain (see:tumor) for a week or two leading up to my paralysis and diagnosis, but after the surgery to remove the tumor, and subsequent fucktonnes of pain meds, AND beginning chemotherapy (only thing as notorious as painkillers for causing constipation) lead to a month-long or more blockage. Yeah. Wasn't fun. Anyway I have 3-4 regular prescriptions for constipation, but as opposed to miralax I prefer daily Colace pills. :) Senna has helped too.

Heh. That's kind of what I mean, though, I probably would have said the same thing a little over a year ago. Suddenly everything happens and you are in that situation and you just have to be real and say "okay fuck this is happening, what are my options?" And if continuing to live comfortably is even possibly an outcome, I think most anyone would at least try!

Thanks man! It is always the kind of thing that happens to other people until it happens to you, ya know? I was not in poor health prior. That said, I'm nearly done with Chemo now and I have learned to walk again through physical therapy! I'm a bit wobbly, though. Nothing my trusty cane can't fix. Life is far from "back to normal" but we're making do, and the fact that I will get there is lucky enough.

What you are using is not more powerful, it is plain miralax.
