I noticed /u/cingraham made a similar comment earlier about data reporting in general. Data is obviously not a new thing - census has been around for a while now. Why do you think data reporting/visualization hasn't ballooned yet as it should have been? Or do you think this has something to do with how data has been presented traditionally?
