It’s a dangerous mistake to wear gloves when operating some machines. I was running a table saw with worn out cotton gloves on a cold day. If I hadn’t had gloves on I might have gotten a small cut, but the blade snagged a glove. There was sort of a “pop” and I lost two finger tips. The first question that the ER nurse asked me was, “Were you wearing gloves?” It could have been much worse.

It’s my understanding that there is so little difference between cheap vodka and the expensive stuff that you’re better off just buying the cheap stuff. How accurate is that, assuming you’re not getting something with fusel oil in it?

Wise choice. You have already proven what you need to prove to yourself. Besides that, beating the shit out of the other guy could end up getting you shot.
