First let me congratulate you on your record, must have felt pretty awesome to set it in your pop's car! Secondly, as a guy who's spent years deeply interested in traditional hotrods (currently building a flathead powered model A) the salt flats (as well as the lake beds) have always held this "holy land" appeal to so many of us. It's where it all started and it's where it's all still going down. What do the flats mean to you? Is it just another day in the office or do you revere them the same as so many of us? Hope to make it down some day to spectate! Safe racing!
