Hello, not Mark Gatiss here, just a guy from London.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was indirectly stopped. There were warnings of riots on the news and it went on for a couple of days. Also I think the scene Mark is referring to was shot at night and that is when all the rioters (mostly) came out in central London to rob JD Sports and steal Basmati rice.

It wouldn't have really been safe for them to film so they must have called it off.

Any idea of how badly this would affect the price of the controllers?

Rumour has it a new controller was listed on Amazon yesterday for around $90 each for pre-order. That seems kinda ridiculous.

How long does the process of making one documentary typically take?

There's always the possibility of vehicles with very little fuel in them? Or electric charge. Whatever the kids use these days. That way the player doesn't have to completely travel across a city by foot and it's a little less tedious. Collecting fuel in games usually feel like a chore though and it's rarely fun (I find.)

As a consequence of having a car with fuel you could attract unwanted attention causing the AI to set up stinger traps and such in which the player has to deal with and avoid otherwise their car gets flat tyres and stops whilst they're getting ambushed. Could lead to some interesting gameplay I think. Just some ideas.
