If celebrities get to shill their current projects when they host an AMA, and Reddit eats it up, I see no reason why we should take this one down.

People end up asking questions related to the celebrity's line of work though, which is exactly what we're doing here. You can't tell me that no one donated to that charity without the intention of seeing Gabe Newell doing an AMA, and that people didn't increase donations to the charity raffles George Clooney and Arnold did when they ran an AMA. Or Louis C.K. when he advertised his new stuff when he last did an AMA. I'd rather talk to an everyman who learned a lot working on a something on his own spare time, without making foolish risks and without the help of his billions of dollars, than talk to some celebrity who is removed from our way of living and yet still has to try and sell us something or have us help them meet some yearly charity quota because their marketing / PR team told them to. If we take this AMA down, it should be for lack of content, which is not the case. If we take this one down, I don't think we should allow celebrity AMAs anymore either.

Hey BT, long time fan since coming across ESCM in high school. I have two questions:

  1. You've been in the electronic music scene for quite a while now. What are the things that have changed the most?

  2. If you could have a day with any living or deceased composer that you haven't already spent a day with, who would it be?
