That definitely was a good choice, I've heard many terrible stories from those times from my relatives.
I would imagine personal space is limited in developing nations (i can definitely see that as a problem in high density 3rd world countries).
Would some kind of personal air regulator/face mask be affective for containing someone infected with TB?
- That's an admirable feat. Do you know any good programs for those wanting to volunteer in developing countries?

That's a pretty neat idea, niche as well.
I'd do research into say...top 5 physically debilitating conditions children suffer im America/globally.
Outline similarities/differences of the conditions, once you find a big of a common ground as possible.
Try to meet kids/parents of these kids to understand their needs.
From then on you can hopefully come up with some mock toy (draw it yourself, or ask a friend) and build it from there.
Get feedback from the parents you spoke to, build a prototype (learn to, ask or pay someone), rinse and repeat until you have something good.
patent the hell out of it after.

Alright just a heads up to all the people who are protective of their ideas.
If you are that paranoid, then don't give it away. Or if you can keep the secret sauce...a secret then do it.
For the most part many major big companies now (google, facebook, apple) were not unique when they started.
They just did it better.
Anyways that aside, I'll bite since I have a few ideas, plus it'd be nice if someone just did this because id kill for this kind of product.
Backstory: I'm from Australia, buying online (especially electronics) can sometimes suck because.
Its either more pricey then what's on amazon.
Amazon won't ship to Australia because of costs.
I wanted to run a mass 3rd party shipping service that can:
Allow us (aussies) to buy anything in the US (Amazon etc) by having it shipped to an American address (warehouse or something).
Drastically reduce price by sending things from there to here in bulk. So instead of paying $20-$40 to send my $70 item here, I can pay $10 to get it bulk shipped with other people's orders to Australia where it can then be shipped on domestic rates.
So many times I've wanted to buy something from amazon but they won't ship, and im forced to by it here for 20% more.
Or I can buy from the US but the shipping cost 1/4 the price of the item.
Best thing I can think of is literally have a trusted person over to act as the American base, and I as the Australian.
What do you guys think?

Does he photoshop as well?
He could literally make a post on here offering to do graphic designs for businesses/start ups for free.
If his work is good people will pay.
If his work is great he'll have repeat customers and referrals.
There's also animation and comic strips but those you have to build a portfolio/following (youtube?) to really make a slash.

Hi doctor Murphy
Since I originally grew up in a 3rd world country (Vietnam), services like yours are a blessing for the local people. So my sincere thanks and respect for what you do.
I have a few curious questions.
What were you doing before you decided to take care of those less fortunate in poverty? And what was the reason that made you change your scenery?
what is/are some diseases you find very common in 3rd world countries that are easily preventable?
What are your goals for the future?
