What was the inspiration for the song Overlord (its very atypical of Log's past work, but awesome too), especially the vocal delivery?

I just watched an interview where he said he doesn't listen to metal outside of LoG. That makes his vocal style all the better for me. Seems like the guys who listen to the most metal all end up sounding to much alike.
