There were multiple actions by Israel and the IDF during the 2014 attack on the Gaza Strip that would qualify as massacres, even under your purposefully narrowed (and inaccurate) definition of the term.

On July 20, 2014, the IDF conducted a massacre in Shuja'iyya.

The conclusion of U.S. military experts interviewed by Mark Perry was that the IDF did not target Hamas sites specifically, simply to collapse Hamas tunnels, but rather laid down a "walking barrage" to "crater the neighbourhood" instead of using suppressive fire to protect their forward troops, a strategy they deemed "indefensible". The operation was condemned internationally, with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon calling it an "atrocious action" and the European Union stating that it "is particularly appalled by the human cost of the Israeli military operation in Shuja'iyya".

Then, on August 1, 2014, the IDF initiated the "Hannibal Directive" in response to the suspected capture of Hadar Goldin by Hamas, slaughtering at least 41 Palestinians and destroying a neighborhood in the effort to ensure the captured soldier was killed, so he could not be used by Hamas in a prisoner exchange.

How about the four children the Israeli navy shelled for the crime of playing soccer on a beach? The first two certainly were intentional massacres, but do you think the third one qualifies as well?

Do you mean the U.S. pays KSA billions in return for oil, because the U.S. is now a net exporter of oil and gas, so you may be working off of a spreadsheet from several decades ago.

The U.S. gives Egypt $1.5 Billion a year in aid, gives Israel $3.8 Billion a year in aid, and gives the KSA $0 per year in aid.

It is still quite important that criticism of the KSA's actions be public and vocal, but because the KSA does bad things (as do Israel and Egypt), not because the KSA gets aid.

If they were lucky, they were in the First or Second Estates.

One thing we do know is that they are not "terror" tunnels, since they have only been used to attack legitimate, military targets. According to reports late last week, during this incursion five tunnels were used in nine assaults across the border into Israel, and in each case they were used to attack military targets, even though there were civilian targets near by.

I understand and support the principle that Israel and Israelis have the right to defend themselves. Do you believe that the Palestinians also have a right to defend themselves? I am not referring to Hamas, but instead to the Palestinian populace of the OPT.
