Just had to say that I've really enjoyed your work over the years. Samurai Jack is a big hit around here, and there are a lot of folks who feel like Clone Wars goes a long way toward redeeming a franchise that was really damaged by the new trilogy of movies. Thanks for everything and congrats on all of your success!

As a question, what project you've done is your favorite/holds a special place in your heart?

The second part of that story, The Doctor Dances, has probably my favorite moment from the new series.

The Doctor's speech that includes "Just this once, everybody lives!" gives me happy little chills every time.

It seems like one of those things that people can't really talk about without damaging their potential for future work. Most of the time, when folks make a show that doesn't go well, they keep quiet about it completely. They'll come up with a standard thing to say like "I met some really great people on that show." To say "it was really difficult," therefore, probably means "it was like hell on earth."

But they can't come right out and say that, because then they risk getting a reputation for spilling people's secrets or for being a prima donna, both of which are pretty bad reps to have in an industry that hates spoilers and requires large numbers of people to work closely together for long periods of time.

I had several openly gay shipmates, to the point that the entire chain of command up to the CO knew and just turned a blind eye.

That's the kind of thing I heard over and over during the debates in recent years before DADT was eliminated. There were already gay soldiers, and as long as they did their jobs, nobody cared. And if they didn't do their jobs, that was the problem people had with them, same as with a straight soldier. Glad those with the power to do something finally got that message.
