Why would you encourage the use of scientific thinking in areas outside of the scientific realm where the empirical method has no use? Aren't you just trying to paint an objective sheen on subjective opinions?

Where in the East Midlands is rough? I've lived in Notts, Derby and Leicester (the unholy trinity), wouldn't say any of them were "rough".
