I STILL will occasionally pull up the cinematic fo MW2 and show my computer students how to have an effective 'hook' into a game.
I was older than you when it came out, but still a favorite.

Thanks for doing this AMA. My wife is currently going through pre-surgical chemo. She has elected to have a double mastectomy due to the chances of recurrence (she was told 1%/year cumulative if only a lumpectomy were done-she is 42).
She is scared to death because she has to have surgery, then radiation, then reconstruction. She does not do anesthesia well, and she has had some trauma related to chemo already.
1) as a husband and caregiver, what can I be doing to help her prepare for this (aside from reassuring her that I will love her no matter what she looks like and I'm here to stay-already doing that)?
2) What questions should she be asking her plastic surgeon now about options and new technology? I think the expanders and recurring pain that comes with that are causing some anxiety. Edit: she was told one nipple could be saved, but because of the location of the tumor, the other one most likely couldn't be.
I hope those questions made sense.

Not OP, but this is a resource I have found to be pretty good from my youth pastor days.

Already done. I am a baseball fan. Alas, he is more for football. We have also watched some Nick Newell vids as well.

So, a little background and then my question. My son was born with only his right hand. We adopted him when he was 3 and he is 10 now. He has a 'nub' of palm tissue. You can see a pic here
It sounds like your parents and my wife and I have similar philosophies. I like your answer elsewhere in this thread about letting kids know God is good and made us each with a purpose. We let him try what he wants to try and help as best we can. He has learned to shoot a bow, he plays flag football (he says if Odell can catch one-handed he can and promises to fly us to his NFL games), you get the idea. He is our inspiration.
Now, my question. If you could go back to when you were 10 and know what you know now, what advice would you have given your mom and dad about parenting you with your limb difference? What should we know as parents as we head into the tween years? edit: What's been your best response to children your own age who aren't verbally rude, but you catch them staring at your arm?
