How do you view and manage your potential addiction risk? Have you had to fight this or was it no big deal? In which specific cases? Do you think the risks are generally well advertised or did you not see an issue? In the states, our general drug education generally states that addiction (though the rates vary by person) is inevitable and most of the time, instant. “You don’t just try heroin” for example. Or “after only two weeks on oxy Almost everyone has some level of withdrawals and addiction”. Any details you feel comfortable sharing on that topic to educate would be very appreciated.

I completely see where you were coming from. I was honestly interested to see what your experience had been in an information gathering way.

Likely/usually, the People putting together these sorts of outreach and the messages speak in generalities. So I thought, I’ll ask someone who has done it to see if they found them to be THIS specifically terrible.

It sounds like as I suspected, no, it’s not that instant or terrible, but it’s highly specific to the person and the general situation. Like any other hobby with hazards associated with them, risk mitigation levels, self control, etc. please correct me if I interpreted your answer incorrectly.

Thank you!
