I hate jumpscares too! Question is though, if given the extra funding and/or time, would you do it in VR?

How many accidents/mishaps did you have building? We tend to always have at least a few.

Our FRC bot had a few mishaps, as we broke a 100:1 gearbox, and 2 of our 1/4" drive belts, not to mention a few CNC bits while building. I expect that the Globals teams spent a whole lot more money on replacing parts.

Yep, was a VexPro, 2 10:1s stacked on top of eachother for a combined 100:1. We used it and a 775 pro to do the climb as a winch, and after 2 tournaments, the C-clip inside slipped, and the shaft stripped out, and we had to tear it apart to swap the parts out. 140 lbs straight up were getting put on that gearbox, I just wish it didn't fail during quarterfinals and get us eliminated.

How about it all takes place on a table? And you're in a room looking at it.
